Spy thriller starring George Raft. An undercover FBI agent and a British MI5 agent work together to expose the organisation behind the kidnapping of atomic scientists.
Looking every one of his 57 years, George Raft gives a fair impression of a man who has had his arms welded to his sides in this dismissable quickie thriller. One of the handful of films Raft made in Europe after his Hollywood fortunes dipped, it's a lightweight affair in which he plays an FBI agent called in to discover who is kidnapping scientists and smuggling them behind the Iron Curtain. The villain's identity is painfully obvious, as is the distaste with which undercover operative Sally Gray smooches her ageing co-star.
