The blockbuster teenage franchise was never going to be trumpeted as a classic series, but the original was pretty good and even the second one had its moments. But this straight-to-DVD sequel sees the saga hit rock bottom and it is as excruciating as some junior school orchestra concerts can be. With only the shameless Eugene Levy and a grown-up Chris ("The Shermanator") Owen around to give it any semblance of credibility, the lead character here is Stifler's equally obnoxious little brother (newcomer Tad Hilgenbrinck) who is sentenced to band camp when an end of year school prank goes wrong. To impress his older sibling, he decides to use his punishment to make a "students go wild" reality film. There's a tiredness to the gags and even the crudity has a TV tameness about it, so lads' mag fans are likely to be disappointed, too.
