This interminable gross-out teen flick aspires to both the raunchy, good-natured smuttiness of the American Pie films and the deft sentiment of classic adolescent road movie The Sure Thing, but fails on both counts. Ian (Josh Zuckerman) is a sexually frustrated 18-year-old who embarks on a road trip to meet the enticingly named Ms Tasty, an internet date who promises to relieve him of his virginity. Also along for the ride are his best friend Lance (Clark Duke) and Felicia (Amanda Crew), who, inevitably, turns out to be the "real" object of Ian's affections. The characters are unattractive and the jokes are few and far between and rarely as funny as they think they are. Only Seth Green as an Amish mechanic with a bone-dry wit threatens to inject some much-needed humour into the proceedings, but he arrives too late and is around too little to make much difference.
Plot Summary
Comedy starring Josh Zuckerman, James Marsden and Seth Green. Tired of being mocked about his virginity, Chicago teenager Ian meets a girl online who promises to solve his dilemma. He takes his brother's car and, with his two best friends, sets off to meet her in.
