Our Score
This documentary about rock-star snapper turned film director Anton Corbijn (Control, The American) shadows him at work and at home, and attempts to paint a fuller picture of the man whose striking and iconic images of the likes of Joy Division, U2 and Depeche Mode have influenced countless other photographers. The driven, workaholic Corbijn takes the viewer inside his creative process, but is careful not to give too much of himself away. Director Klaartje Quirijns portrays her subject in the same enigmatic way as the musicians and movie stars he himself shoots, quietly observing as Corbijn puts George Clooney, Lou Reed and others through their paces. His famous subjects are full of praise for his methods, but while friends and family offer more intimate assessments of him, Corbijn ultimately remains, at least partially, a man of mystery.

Documentary following the Dutch photographer and film-maker over the course of almost four years as he negotiates a typically busy schedule. The film also examines his work with bands including Joy Division, U2, Nirvana, Metallica, Depeche Mode and REM that helped to shape their public image, and features exclusive access to his home and studio.
