A late Audie Murphy vehicle, with the ageing baby-faced war hero playing a sheriff trying to capture a gang of train robbers who have taken a saloon girl hostage. Murphy is always watchable and there's expert support from grizzled western veterans Denver Pyle and Edgar Buchanan, but this unoriginal movie is little better than TV fodder. Director Earl Bellamy makes good use of his locations, but otherwise the low budget is very evident.

Plot Summary
