Fans of the thumping 1989 modern-day western starring Patrick Swayze will be mightily disappointed by this turgid follow-up. Here, Johnathon Schaech takes on the muscular tough-guy mantle, as a DEA agent (and son of Swayze's enigmatic bouncer character from the original), who returns to his home stomping ground when his club owner uncle (Will Patton) is targeted by drug-running heavies. However, where the Swayze film was good dumb fun with a tasty cast, well-choreographed fight scenes and some pithy one-liners, this belated sequel just delivers forgettable shoot-'em-ups, unconvincing brawls and a seen-it-all-before plot.

Plot Summary

Action drama starring Jonathon Schaech. DEA agent Shane Tanner comes to his uncle's aid when the ruthless Wild Bill muscles in on his bar and tries to use it for his drug-running operation.
