Review

Our Score
Ground-breaking Indian director Rakesh Roshan re-teams with his actor son Hrithik for this blockbusting sequel to their 2003 sci-fi hit Koi... Mil Gaya. This flabby yet entertaining fantasy adventure takes Bollywood cinema to new technical and creative heights with the introduction of an all-singing, all-dancing superhero (Hrithik Roshan) who's forced by love and loyalty to embrace his perilous destiny. Roshan's charismatic performance carries the picture, even during the limp and long-winded first half. But it's when his rural wonderboy follows his heart's desire (Priyanka Chopra) to metropolitan Singapore that the fun begins. Comic-book clich├ęs are gleefully exploited, while the inventive fight choreography of Chinese maestro Ching Siu-Tung (House of Flying Daggers) adds extra pizzazz to the Hollywood-style set pieces.

Summary

A young man inherits superhuman powers from his dead father and becomes attracted to a strange woman, not realising she only wants him for his unusual abilities. Sci-fi adventure, the sequel to Koi Mil Gaya, starring Hrithik Roshan as the son of his character from the original film. With Rekha and Priyanka Chopra.
