Our Score
This risible spoof of the Bulldog Drummond stories stars Alan Shearman, Ron House and Diz White, the team that also wrote the original stage play on which their movie script is based. Shearman plays the fearless "Bullshot" Crummond with all the subtlety of a salesman on commission. But he has left himself with little option as every pun and sight gag in this atrocious tale of German cads pursuing a top-secret formula demands to be rammed home with steam-hammer finesse. Billy Connolly, Mel Smith and Nicholas Lyndhurst are among the celebrities whose cameos can't help the cause.

Hugh `Bullshot' Crummond, an upstanding square-jawed war hero, helps rescue a kidnapped inventor and recover a top-secret formula. Dick Clement's parody of the Bulldog Drummond serials of the 1920s, starring Alan Shearman, Diz White, Ronald E House, Michael Aldridge, Billy Connolly and Frances Tomelty.
