Danger by My Side

Danger by My Side

Charles Saunders (1962)

Our Score
The road to justice leads to a Soho nightclub in this tawdry British B-movie. The hit-and-run murder, the sleazy club scenes, the heist and the motor-launch finale are all executed with the minimum of imagination as Maureen Connell puts her personal safety on the line while helping the police catch her detective-brother's killers. This was low-budget specialist director Charles Saunders's final feature, but it's a sorry swan song, since his pacing is so poor that the cast is left high and dry.

A woman sets out to unmask her brother's murderer and takes a job in a strip-club to further her investigation. Mystery, with Maureen Connell, Anthony Oliver and Alan Tilvern.
