Review

Our Score
The Beast with Five Fingers is given an energetic Scream update in this delightful horror comedy, which casts a winking eye on genre clich├ęs and cannily redefines them into first-class popcorn entertainment. Lazy student Devon Sawa can't control his supernaturally possessed hand and ends up killing his best friends without knowing it. Everything from Evil Dead II to Death Becomes Her gets worked over by director Rodman Flender, who pushes the scare button on numerous occasions and always hits the funny bone with over-the-top gross-outs. A welcome surprise.

Summary

A 17-year-old boy wakes up on Hallowe'en to find his right hand has developed a bloodthirsty mind of its own - and his parents have been converted into less-than-tasteful headless decorations. It's not long before his wayward limb is spreading bloody murder through the town, leading to gore galore. Comedy horror, starring Devon Sawa, Seth Green, Elden Ratliff and Jessica Alba.
