Aside from Tony Curtis's star turn as a greedy hustler who takes charge of the titular Little Leaguers, there's little of note in this lifeless, pointless second sequel. Curtis sees a lucrative opportunity in a tour of Japan, which involves the kids taking on the national champions. The actor must have also been doing this diamond dud purely for the money, while return engagements from the first movie's writer and director (the latter now producing) has had little positive effect.

Plot Summary

Sports comedy starring Tony Curtis. Agent Marvin Lazar has had a bad day - he's been fired by his last client, his business has gone broke and the only message on his answerphone is from his ex-wife demanding maintenance. But out of the corner of his eye he sees that the notorious junior baseball team, the Bad News Bears, are looking for sponsors for a trip to Japan and senses the chance to make a packet.
