Our Score
Rutger Hauer should have looked before he leapt into this implausible revenge adventure. We learn through flashbacks that Rutger's USAF ace went a little battle crazy during the Gulf War and was only prevented from shooting down an Iraqi passenger jet by the quick thinking of fellow fighter pilot Robert Patrick. However, Hauer believes that Patrick is out to sabotage his career and seeks his revenge in the skies over Bosnia. The conflicts may be contemporary, but the flyboy action is dated in terms of technique and ingenuity. Even loyal Hauer fans are going to experience turbulence with this one.

Summary

An air force commander shoots down one of his own pilots to stop him attacking an Iraqi passenger plane during the first Gulf War. However, the unstable airman comes to blame the officer for ruining his life and career, and once back in America, he launches a campaign of terror against him. Action thriller, starring Rutger Hauer, Robert Patrick and Isabel Glasser.
