Our Score
There must be worse ways of spending 90-odd minutes than watching this toilet-humour fest for less-picky younger kids - it's just really hard to think of one. Irritating pre-teen Judy (Jordana Beatty) is planning a "thrilladelic" school break with her two best pals. So when she finds out that they are both going away for the holidays, and so are her parents, she's devastated. But Judy's bummer of a summer is salvaged by the arrival of eccentric aunt Opal (Heather Graham), and by a subsequent string of not-so-jolly and decidedly juvenile japes. This adaptation of the popular series of children's books is frantic rather than fun, and childish rather than charming, making this definitely one to miss. Ghastly!
