Review

Our Score
Scripted by Stephen King from his own story Cycle of the Werewolf, this half-hearted lycanthropic horror is a tired sheep in werewolf's clothing. Disabled Corey Haim (his wheelchair is the silver bullet of the title) knows there's a werewolf on the prowl in his small town and convinces his sister (Megan Follows) and their alcoholic uncle (Gary Busey) to help him unmask its human identity. First-time director Daniel Attias draws credible performances from his able cast but the deliberately irony-rich murders misguidedly draw more laughter than terror. ET creator Carlo Rambaldi's embarrassingly artificial werewolf doesn't help matters either.
