A recent divorcee makes a fresh start in New York with her two kids, only to find herself falling for a college graduate 15 years her junior in this glossy romantic comedy. Since the leading lady's played by Catherine Zeta-Jones, it's hard to imagine her character ever wanting for male company, but the point of her growing attraction to 20-something Justin Bartha (the groom from The Hangover) is that he's completely different to her cheating ex-husband, is great with her kids, and is just... nice. The same pretty much goes for Bart Freundlich's movie as a whole, which tootles along pleasantly enough, delivering smiles aplenty as this unlikely couple find each other and have to deal with the scepticism of friends and family alike. It's not side-splittingly funny, or exactly emotionally trenchant, but Zeta-Jones and Bartha are both decidedly charming, even if there's a notable lack of sexual chemistry between them. Look out for Art Garfunkel, no less, as Bartha's crusty old pop.
