A martial arts fighting cyborg (Angelina Jolie) is created by a sinister US corporation to destroy a Japanese rival in an action-packed futuristic adventure with a fun cast. Hero Elias Koteas falls for the sexy humanoid, and together they fight drug-addicted bounty hunter Billy Drago and mercenary storm troopers sent out by evil president Allen Garfield to foil their insidious plan. Writer/director Michael Schroeder keeps everything bubbling along neatly in this Blade Runner-inspired violent fantasy, which has flashbacks to the Van Damme original. Jack Palance provides some outrageously surreal philosophical subtext as a techno-God.

Plot Summary

Sci-fi adventure starring Elias Koteas and Angelina Jolie. A mechanised femme fatale begins to develop feelings for her martial arts instructor, putting her in danger in a futuristic war between corporate giants.
