Look Who's Talking Now!

The talking baby concept had been exhausted by the first two Look Who's films, so the makers moved on to animals for this second sequel. However, even the presence of two new big-name stars Danny DeVito and Diane Keaton couldn't breathe life into a tired formula. John Travolta, still a year away from Pulp Fiction, and Kirstie Alley go through the motions again as the bickering couple, while DeVito and Keaton, providing the voices for two dogs from different sides of the tracks, snap away in similar fashion. Despite the accomplished playing of the cast, good gags are thin on the ground.

Plot Summary

Comedy starring John Travolta and Kirstie Alley. With the children now able to walk and talk, the Ubriacco family acquire a mongrel puppy, Rocks. As the Christmas season approaches the family's usual struggles are complicated by the unexpected gift of Daphne, a pampered poodle.
