Our Score
Dreams, infidelity and murder prove a messy combination in this underdeveloped mystery tale. Adding good looks and an average performance, Star Trek: Enterprise's Jolene Blalock plays a therapist who's drawn into a homicide case when one of her patients is strangled. While trying to help ascertain "who done it?", she predictably stirs up her own demons, making this flashback-heavy TV movie more about her shallow soul-searching than finding a killer. Consequently, the increasingly unconvincing narrative has little drama or tension; a weakness underlined by a lazy and obvious climax. But it's the incongruous visuals that are the biggest irritation, distracting attention with their jerky close-ups and abrupt camera swings.

Summary

A psychiatrist decides to investigate when one of her patients is murdered, placing her career and marriage in jeopardy as she becomes obsessed with the case.
