This so-so vehicle for Sinbad - the American comedy star, not the former Brookside regular - went straight to video this side of the pond. In this variation on a familiar theme, the nautically named comedian plays a petty con artist on the run from the Mob who, passing himself off as the long-lost chum of uptight lawyer Phil Hartman, moves in with his family. Sinbad's freewheeling style raises the odd giggle, and he works well with Hartman. However, Randall Miller's direction is uninspired, and the result is ultimately a pretty predictable affair.
