Our Score
Of course, it had to be Bette Davis who could disprove the old warning about working with children - few others would have the nerve or the talent. She, however, is in her element, playing henchwoman to Christopher Lee's mad scientist in this sequel to Disney's Escape to Witch Mountain. Lee is seeking world domination by gaining control of two extraterrestrial kids, who possess all kinds of strange powers (telekinesis, anti-gravity, cute expressions). Kim Richards and Ike Eisenmann reprise their roles as the alien siblings, but this is Davis's film - the legendary star gives a scene-stealing performance, adding an interesting touch of colour to what could otherwise have been a bland fantasy adventure.
