Review

Our Score
Those familiar with director Albert Pyun's movies will not be surprised by the quality of this, or the fact it reworks the premise of a better-known film. This time, Pyun borrows from Yojimbo/A Fistful of Dollars, updating the basic story to a post-apocalypse future. Rutger Hauer sleepwalks through his role as a mysterious robot who arrives in a ruined amusement park occupied by two robot groups and plays both sides against each other. Dark and dreary, the movie's action sequences are both sporadic and so poorly directed as to be incomprehensible. But its biggest mistake is making every character a robot, as with no human element, no emotion whatsoever is generated.

Summary

In the far future, the human race has been overthrown by the robots it created - who subsequently turn on each other. An android wandering the wasteland alone gets caught in the middle of a conflict between two rival factions of machines fighting for possession of a cache of weapons. Sci-fi adventure, starring Rutger Hauer and Shannon Whirry.
