The Absent-Minded Professor meets The Incredible Shrinking Man in this joyous, innocuous and thrilling Walt Disney adventure that will appeal to both young and old. Rick Moranis makes you laugh long and loud, as the wacky inventor whose molecular reducer shrinks his two kids, and the children next door, to the size of Tom Thumb's thumb. How they cope with giant insects and water sprinklers in their hazardous garden-turned-jungle makes for epic fantasy chills and spills, doubling as a neat eco-learning quest in the best Disney tradition.
Plot Summary
Disney comedy fantasy starring Rick Moranis. Professor Wayne Szalinski's obsession with developing a miniaturisation ray causes him to neglect his wife and two children and attracts ridicule from his suburban neighbours. But then a freak accident triggers the inventor's device and reduces his children, and those of his neighbour, to microscopic size.
