Friday the 13th in inner-city London is the best description for what debut director Arjun Rose calls his "MTV horror", which fails to convince on any level. Eight teenagers, including Robert Sheehan (TV's Misfits), sign a suicide pact because of bullying, eating disorders, errant parents and so on, only to be targeted by a masked killer who could be any one of them. Cinematographer Toby Moore (Holby City) gives the harsh urban landscape a moody look, but everything else is completely hopeless. Ashley Walters and Reggie Yates play the least credible detectives in history, investigating a plot so mechanical it needs constant kick-starting, while a vague, last minute supernatural twist is a clear sign of desperation. Luther star Idris Elba executive produced - but wisely doesn't appear in - this under-par horror with little in the way of gore, chills or logic.

Eight teenagers troubled by personal issues respond to the suicide of a friend by making an agreement to kill themselves. However, when they start having second thoughts, they are murdered one by one by a mysterious masked figure whom the survivors suspect is one of them. Horror, starring Robert Sheehan and Ashley Walters.
