Romantic comedy drama starring Reese Witherspoon. In search of a new direction in life, a newly separated mother who dreams of becoming an interior designer takes in three aspiring film-makers as her lodgers.
In this light-hearted romantic comedy, Reese Witherspoon stars as a newly separated mother in LA, who gets more than she bargained for when she takes in three aspiring film-makers. It's pretty fluffy stuff, however the good-natured tone makes it all easy to swallow, as you begin to care about this unconventional family. Witherspoon is utterly charming as a woman trying to rebuild her life, balancing love, family and career with an endearing energy. Much of the male cast's job is to cause the chaos, with Michael Sheen particularly hilarious as Witherspoon's ex. The three tyros are nice enough but struggle to keep up with the more experienced stars. Harking back to comedies like Three Men and a Baby, Home Again is a cheerful, entertaining bit of cinema escapism.
