Our Score
Sam Wanamaker was talented in many fields, but he was not a good film director as this (the first of his five feature outings behind the camera) testifies. Admittedly the ponderous tale of American agent Yul Brynner's pursuit of international counterfeiters is hardly riveting material, but it would be markedly less irksome to watch if it had not been so baldly padded out with uninspired tableaux of the London landscape. Only Charles Gray (cast once more as the svelte villain) enters into the Swinging Sixties spirit. The rest look as if they knew this goose was a turkey.

An American agent and a Scotland Yard detective join forces on an undercover operation to infiltrate and apprehend a counterfeiting gang. Crime thriller, starring Yul Brynner, Charles Gray, Graham Crowden and the late Edward Woodward.
