Our Score
This straight-to-DVD animated offering from Disney revisits the story of Tod the fox and Copper the hound dog. Rather than picking up where the 1981 original left off, it follows the duo in their cute youth, when the arrival of a travelling fair threatens to come between them. Having failed to become an expert hound, Copper believes he has found his true calling when he joins visiting canine act the Singin' Strays. Tod soon feels left out and finds a kindred spirit in the diva-like Dixie, whose place in the act has been taken by Copper. When the two conspire to return things to normal, both Tod and Copper's friendship and the band are put in jeopardy. The slight story is rather short on adventure, but the chase sequences should provide enough slapstick mayhem for younger viewers.

Summary

Sequel to the Disney animation, in which Copper the dog joins a country music band of strays. However, his taste of fame leads him to neglect old friend Tod the fox. With the voices of Patrick Swayze, Reba McEntire, Harrison Fahn and Jonah Bobo.
