Our Score
A surprisingly unfunny comedy (based on the French movie Les Compères) starring Billy Crystal and Robin Williams as two men who are both told by Nastassja Kinski that they are the father of her wayward missing teenage son, in an attempt to get them to help her find him. From the director of Ghost Busters, Ivan Reitman, this had the potential to be hilarious, but instead falls alarmingly flat thanks to a weak and jokeless script that even the combined comedic talents of Williams and Crystal can't perk up. Disappointing.

A desperate single mother whose teenage son has disappeared visits two old flames - an eccentric writer and a strait-laced lawyer - to ask for their help. They join forces to find him, but deep down each man becomes convinced he is the boy's real father. Comedy, starring Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Nastassja Kinski, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Charlie Hofheimer.
