Review

Our Score
Harlequin, the Canadian equivalent of Mills and Boon, has been dabbling in the movies since 1978, and this lightweight blend of romance and intrigue is typical of its output. Chandra West stars as an art gallery owner who meets a handsome but mysterious stranger (Chris Potter) after her uncle disappears and becomes involved in smuggling. Pop star-turned-actress Paula Abdul is miscast in her supporting role as West's best friend, but Potter handles the intrigue quite well. And if the New England setting looks a bit like Nova Scotia, that's because it is.

Summary

A New England art gallery owner and her best friend discover love and excitement when they meet two handsome enigmatic strangers who draw them into a complex web of international drug smuggling and CIA agents. Romantic thriller, starring Paula Abdul, Chris Potter, Chandra West, Art Hindle and John Pyper-Ferguson.
