Our Score
This preachy drama from director Eva Gardos has the feel of a moral melodrama from the 1950s, when pre-marital sex was still a taboo and teenage pregnancy was a source of social disgrace. Fortunately, there are some sound performances here, notably from Kathy Baker as the teacher whose hopes for model 15-year-old son Paul Dano seem dashed when he gets classmate Katie Stuart pregnant.

A 15-year-old boy is stunned to discover his girlfriend is pregnant, but resolves to get through the tough trials ahead with the help of his family and friends. When the girl's parents decide to put the baby up for adoption, he vows to fight the decision. Drama, starring Paul Dano, Kathy Baker and Bruce Davison.
