Our Score
A rather depressing but worthy drama about a couple determined to keep the child they have fostered after they learn she has been abused by her natural father. Tess Harper (Crimes of the Heart, Far North) and Frederic Forrest (Apocalypse Now) both give competent performances, and the whole affair is very well meant, if somewhat laboriously done.

A couple take in a foster child, and hope to be able to adopt her. However, the authorities return her to her father, whom the girl claims has been abusing her. The devoted foster family begins a legal battle to regain custody. Fact-based drama, starring Tess Harper, Frederic Forrest and Patricia Kalember.
