Review

Our Score
A modestly amusing service comedy with Kenneth More as a blithering idiot ordered to train navy cadets at Dartmouth College. Making a hash of that billet, More is transferred to the American fleet in the Med, thus allowing Hollywood hero Lloyd Nolan to help the film at the box office in America. Despite its transatlantic ambitions, though, it's really little more than Doctor in the House in uniform, with More using his comic persona in that film to send up his earlier screen career as a Second World War warrior, and Dirk Bogarde directly reprising his own Doctor in the House role in a cameo. And it's all frightfully polite, what?
