Our Score
As a TV producer, Monty Berman was responsible for such classics as The Saint and Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased). His cinema career was less distinguished, however, despite the fact that Tempean Films was one of the most prolific British B-movie factories of the 1950s. Made, as usual, in collaboration with director Robert S Baker, this is among his more fanciful projects, about a blind man (Maxwell Reed) who recovers his sight in time to tackle a counterfeiting ring led by supposed air-crash victim Kynaston Reeves. Written by future horror director John Gilling, this is a strictly by-the-numbers thriller, though Berman's photography is seedily atmospheric.

A man who stumbled on a murder while temporarily blinded tries to find the killers when the police refuse to believe his story. Crime drama, with Maxwell Reed and Dinah Sheridan.
