Our Score
This is the kind of shoddy crime thriller that gives even low-budget features a bad name. Adapted from the play Moment of Blindness, the action never for a second escapes its stage origins as composer Laurence Payne and his pregnant mistress, Jane Griffiths, plot to murder Payne's wife, Patricia Dainton. Blame playwrights Pip and Jane Baker for the elaborate murder games and the blindingly obvious twist. But even they are betrayed by a cast that seems incapable of holding its own in an amateur theatrical and director Montgomery Tully, who flagrantly disregards the potential of the movie camera.

An unhappily married composer has an affair with his sister-in-law, which results in her pregnancy. When his wife refuses to grant him a divorce, he hatches a convoluted scheme to murder her - but nothing goes according to plan. Thriller, starring Laurence Payne, Patricia Dainton and Jane Griffiths.
