Our Score
Although purporting to be a tribute to the genius of Peter Sellers, there is no escaping the fact that this is exploitation at its most shameless. Released two years after Sellers's death, the film is a crudely assembled compilation of unremarkable out-takes and dismally unfunny new footage as TV reporter Joanna Lumley descends on Clouseau's friends and foes to piece together a picture (if you will) of the inspector after he vanishes on a case. In spite of his critical mauling, the impenitent Blake Edwards proceeded to direct two more Pink Panther movies, which hit new lows of taste and quality.

An intrepid reporter investigates the mysterious disappearance of the bumbling Inspector Clouseau. Comedy sequel made after star Peter Sellers' death, using out-takes and unused footage from previous Pink Panther films, with Joanna Lumley, David Niven, Herbert Lom and Burt Kwouk.
