Our Score
The hit HBO series gets a feature-length outing, as movie star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) and his friends navigate life, love and fame while trying to finish off Vincent's ambitious directorial debut. From the opening credits to the numerous star cameos (including Mark Wahlberg and Liam Neeson), the film seems in every way like an extended episode of the series. Nothing feels too urgent as the guys party their way through this bromance fantasy, littered with bikini models and expensive cars. It's not exactly compelling but the oafish charm of the leads soon wins you over. Jeremy Piven's Ari Gold is as cutting and hilarious as ever, and the standout of every scene he's in, while of the new additions, Haley Joel Osment impresses as a lecherous financier. It's about as lightweight a movie as you can imagine, but fans of the show will love this last bid for stardom from TV's favourite hangers-on.

Movie star Vincent Chase gets the chance of a lifetime when his former agent, now a studio executive, offers him the opportunity to direct and star in his latest picture. However, the project proves a troubled one, while his three best friends seek to exploit the situation to their own advantage. Comedy based on the TV series, starring Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara.
