This unfunny comedy adventure brought Rosalind Russell's big-screen career to an end. She had only herself and husband Frederick Brisson to blame, though, since she wrote it pseudonymously and he produced it and employed the undistinguished Leslie Martinson to direct. Russell plays a middle-aged woman who joins the CIA and embarks on a series of unlikely and over-energetic adventures. (As she was over 60 at the time, stunt doubles are much in evidence.) It's a pity that such a modest work should be the swan song of an engaging talent that graced masterpieces such as His Girl Friday opposite Cary Grant and was so memorable as the showbiz mum from hell in the 1962 version of Gypsy.

A bored widow desperate for excitement becomes an agent for the CIA. However, her first mission lands her in an Albanian jail, handcuffed to a handsome stranger. Espionage comedy, written by and starring Rosalind Russell, with Darren McGavin, Nehemiah Persoff and Harold Gould.
