Our Score
Limping along years after Hollywood's postwar exterior-location thrillers such as The Naked City, this British attempt at the genre just about manages to hold the interest. The story is about London gangsters falling out over a protection racket, and features a young Sean Connery when he had hair and Herbert Lom at his most seedily sinister, before he became the demented fall guy to Peter Sellers's Inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther movies.

London gangs prepare to join forces for a big showdown, but fall out over money made from protection rackets. Gritty drama, starring Herbert Lom, Sean Connery, John Gregson, Alfred Marks and Yvonne Romain.
