Our Score
This is the kind of frothy comedy that cries out for the likes of William Powell and Myrna Loy, but instead has to settle for Robert Cummings and Hedy Lamarr. Cummings (who was usually billed as Bob in comedies and Robert in weightier fare) seems more at home than his co-star with the endless round of misunderstandings and petty feuds, but like Lady in the Dark - the Ginger Rogers musical about psychoanalysis - the film suffers from a touch of the verbals whenever psychiatrist Lamarr gets to try out her couch-side manner on Cummings's neurotic advertising executive. Fatally short on pace and fun.

An advertising executive falls for a psychiatrist whose book her is promoting while being pursued by his ex-fiancee. Romantic comedy, starring Hedy Lamarr and Robert Cummings.
