Hunt the Man Down

Hunt the Man Down

George Archainbaud (1951)

Our Score
The budget is shoestring, but this thriller is brisk, slick and well-played by Gig Young as a lawyer trying to clear his client of murder - before all the witnesses are bumped off.

A man thwarts a robbery, only for the resulting publicity to reveal him as a murder suspect who has been missing for 12 years. However, although he convinces the public defender of his innocence, it seems they have little chance of convincing a jury without the witnesses who have had more than a decade to disappear - giving them just one week to track them down. Crime thriller, starring Gig Young, James Anderson and Lynne Roberts.
