Our Score
Ethan Hawke puts in an uncredited appearance at the start of this handsome Disney adventure, which, unlike its predecessor, owes little or nothing to the much-loved novel by Jack London. Scott Bairstow steps into Hawke's shoes as he abandons the Alaskan gold fields and, along with his beautiful canine companion, goes in search of a herd of lost caribou for a tribe of starving native Americans. The soppy romance between Bairstow and princess Charmaine Craig won't do much for the majority of younger viewers, but they should find the tribal mythology and mysticism fascinating and the litter of puppies utterly irresistible.

Summary

A white boy races to the aid of Native Americans with the help of his fearless hound, in a bid to prevent their sacred tribal ground being taken over by miners. Adventure sequel set during the Alaskan Gold Rush, and inspired by Jack London's novel, starring Scott Bairstow, Alfred Molina, Charmaine Craig and Geoffrey Lewis.
