Our Score
Johnny Knoxville and his daredevil buddies take their eye-watering antics to new extremes in this darkly funny spin-off from the cult TV series. Produced by Being John Malkovich director Spike Jonze, it builds on the group's MTV-spawned format, in which the modern-day clowns repeatedly risk life and limb carrying out absurd, and often dangerous, stunts and pranks. From master of outrage Steve-O snorting wasabi - a kind of Japanese horseradish - to Men in Black II star Knoxville smashing himself up in a golf buggy, there's apparently nothing these adrenaline junkies won't do for public entertainment. It's far from subtle and definitely an acquired taste, but fans of the show won't be disappointed. The movie doesn't manage to maintain its crazy momentum for its entirety, and there are segments, particularly those involving bodily fluids, that really fall flat. Overall, however, this is spirited adults-only viewing - just don't expect elderly relatives to approve.

Johnny Knoxville and his gang of daredevil friends bring the MTV series to the big screen. As usual, they perform a variety of weird and wonderful stunts, including crawling across dozens of mousetraps while wearing rodent make-up, and being rolled down bowling lanes on skateboards. Comedy, with Bam Margera, Henry Rollins, Spike Jonze and Tony Hawk.
