Our Score
Depressed following the death of his wife, Johnathon Schaech takes to the road in his beaten-up car and picks up Harvey Keitel who insists he's the real Elvis. So do most of the awe-struck people they encounter on the road to Graceland in a whimsical saga about finding oneself and being true to your own feelings. Religious metaphor and Blue Suede Shoes nostalgia makes for an uneasy mix and it does teeter on the edge of open-mouthed stupidity for a lot of the time. But Elvis fans will love it for its messianic qualities and Bridget Fonda is wonderful as a Marilyn Monroe impersonator.

Summary

A recently widowed Elvis fan drives to the King's home in the hope of easing his grief, and picks up a drifter who bears more than a passing resemblance to the singer himself. Drama, starring Johnathan Schaech and Harvey Keitel.
