Our Score
Who says stoners are politically apathetic? In this harebrained sequel to Harold & Kumar Get the Munchies, the dope-smoking dopes (John Cho and Kal Penn) roll up and thumb their noses at America's post-9/11 insecurities. Arrested on a flight to Amsterdam after their bong is mistaken for a terrorist bomb, the bumbling heroes are shipped off to Guantanamo Bay by an over-zealous Homeland Security chief (Rob Corddry), whose disregard for due process extends to using the Bill of Rights as toilet paper. What follows is an irredeemably puerile procession of X-rated gags about getting high, getting laid and getting away from the guards at Guantanamo. Yet the script's surprisingly barbed take on America's culture of suspicion occasionally hits the mark, especially when one appreciates the half-realised point: these days it's not just pot-smoking dropouts who are subject to bouts of irrational paranoia.

Summary

The perpetually stoned duo plan a trip to Amsterdam, but no sooner have they boarded the plane when they are arrested for terrorist offences and shipped off to the notorious prison camp. Comedy sequel, starring John Cho, Kal Penn, Neil Patrick Harris and Rob Corddry.
