Review

Our Score
This apology for a movie is unmitigated rubbish, and, because of, or in spite of, its dire production levels, its non-plot and its knowing but perhaps unintentionally camp air, there's an audience that may lap it up. However, more discerning viewers will switch off this would-be action adventure, in which Gregg Henry stars as a burned-out Vietnam vet redeeming his dignity by attempting to save the western world from nuclear annihilation. Don't blink or you'll miss a tongue-in-cheek Leslie Nielsen and Michael J Pollard. Frank Harris takes both director's and cinematographer's credits, and cult director Katt Shea Ruben had a hand in the script. Made in association, Lord help 'em, with the US Navy's SEAL division.
