Review

Our Score
This last film British-born actor Stewart Granger made under his seven-year contract with MGM was a farewell without much glory. Granger, who was best as a swashbuckling hero, seems ill-at-ease as a gunfighter returning home to his ranch after some years away, to find that his wife has died and his teenage son is bitter towards him. Director Roy Rowland commits the cardinal casting sin of putting his plainly inadequate son Steve in the role of Granger's son. But the plot and the lovely Rhonda Fleming make this CinemaScope western quite watchable.

Summary

A reformed gunfighter returns to his home town, only to find it has been taken over by a ruthless cattle baron. Western, with Stewart Granger, Rhonda Fleming, Chill Wills, James Gregory and Steve Rowland.
