Justin who? If you have to ask, you're probably neither a young girl nor into pop music. Bieber is the Canadian teen phenomenon who has gone global since his mother posted some of his performance videos on YouTube back in 2007. Think a young, white Michael Jackson, or a male Miley Cyrus (who also pops up here). The bright and breezy Never Say Never showcases the precocious pop pup on his first pan-American tour. The film is part biopic, part concert movie and part backstage footage and, like Bieber himself, it's easy on the eye and the ear, somewhat anodyne, and relentless in its uncritical promotion of Brand Bieber. First and foremost, of course, it is a film for fans. But accompanying adults might be surprised by how cheesily enjoyable it is. They may suddenly feel rather old, though.
