Our Score
Six years after its rude, crude but ultimately charming predecessor, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, became a sleeper hit, this belated sequel opts for a crass take on male/female relations. Rob Schneider returns as unwilling, cut-price gigolo Deuce, now bereft of his wife via a turtle-feeding accident. Toting his dead spouse's false leg with him, Deuce is lured by his erstwhile "man-pimp" (Eddie Griffin) to Amsterdam, where the disjointed plot throws in a bunch of freaky clients and a serial killer whose identity is obvious from the outset. Containing none of the silly, sweet scenes that make the original a feel-good (if stupid) comedy, this well-cast but badly scripted, low-budget follow-up merely feels gritty, dirty and perverse. What makes the first film tick is the secret that a good gigolo listens to women, making them feel happy about themselves - a sentiment for which this stretches but fails to reach.

A low-rent lover-for-hire tries to raise the money needed for legal fees when his old friend and former manager lands himself in trouble with the authorities in Amsterdam. Unfortunately, a workers' union of gigolos is less than happy about his arrival in Europe. Comedy sequel, starring Rob Schneider, Eddie Griffin, Jeroen Krabbe and Oded Fehr.
