Review

Our Score
The cop movie has long been a Bollywood staple, but this rousing adventure owes as much to Hollywood and Hong Kong as it does to the crime classics of the 1970s. Director Sanjay Gadhvi places the emphasis firmly on adrenaline action, as detective Abhishek Bachchan enlists the help of motorcycle rebel Uday Chopra to nab suave crook John Abraham. As a result, Esha Deol and Rimi Sen are confined to love-interest musical interludes, as Gadhvi glorifies the speeding machines and their photogenic riders. Style unashamedly triumphs over substance throughout, but the story rattles along and the set pieces are very slickly staged.

Summary

A gang of criminals terrorise Mumbai, using customised motorcycles to evade the law. A detective is assigned to stop their reign of terror, and reluctantly enlists the aid of a roguish biker and garage mechanic to help him. But their differing methods threaten to drive the crime-fighting duo apart. Slick and stylish Indian drama, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.
