In this dreadful supernatural thriller Sandra Bullock plays a wife and mother who is told that her husband (Julian McMahon) has died in a car crash. So she's astounded to wake up the next day and find him still alive. It appears that time has somehow come unstuck and she's experiencing the week of his demise in random order. Can she reshuffle the days in order to learn the facts and save his life? It's pointless trying to work out what's really going on here, as the film's full of gaps in logic, inane harbingers of doom and meaningless clues. And such explanations as do arrive are hilariously heavy-handed tributes to faith and family values. It's languidly paced and drearily shot, and Bullock's utterly pedestrian performance matches the sappy imagery and uninspired scares.
