Romantic comedy starring Zac Efron and Imogen Poots. Jason and his buddies make the most of the New York dating scene. But when the girl of Jason's dreams wants him to show a bit more commitment, he must think again about his fancy-free lifestyle.
Zac Efron headlines a lightweight but quite likeable comedy "bromance" about Jason (Efron), Mikey (Michael B Jordan) and Daniel (Miles Teller), three New York friends at critical junctures in their love lives. When Mikey's wife is caught after "intense sex" with her lawyer, Jason and Daniel vow to stay "seriously single" in sympathy. But love doesn't work like that. The threesome's plans for non-committal sex with a whole roster of girls is soon thwarted by the start of real new relationships. That Awkward Moment is corny, contrived and rather uneven in tone. But there's genuine charisma between the three leads, and overall it's amiable undemanding entertainment.
